Around the Web

3 05 2009

Here are a few interesting things I stumbled upon during my time on the internet this week:

I saw this interesting post on Jonny Baker’s blog/site about community sermons.

This one isn’t on the web (other than wikipedia), but in my reading this week for my Early Church History class I discovered that Athanasius, an early church father from Alexandria, was exiled a total of 5 times during his life.  (Five times!!! But he kept plugging along).

My friend Dan posted some good thoughts on the book of Revelation and about who is sitting on the throne.  (Spoiler Alert: It’s Not Caesar)

Another friend, Matthew P has this crazy social experiment going on.  It’s hilarious, but I’m hoping it ends soon… before he gets himself beat-up.

Jason recently posted this poetic, heartfelt piece of creation.  Jason is super creative, thoughtful, and a great friend.
